Was it worth it to get your CPA credential?
Yes, getting my CPA credential has been very rewarding. The opportunities that arise with the CPA credential are worth it.
Who inspired you along the way?
My parents were my biggest inspirations throughout my CPA exam journey. Their work ethic and determination have inspired me to reach my own professional goals.
What do you love about your job?
I work at a public accounting firm that offers tax and audit services, so it has been amazing to get experience in both areas. I also appreciate being in a work environment that enables people to learn and grow.
How has being an OSCPA member benefitted you?
Being an OSCPA member allows me to connect with other members that are in different industries and be up to date with any new developments in the field. The continued professional development courses and webinars are great.
What advice would you give a new CPA?
As a new CPA myself, I would advise other new CPAs to explore all the benefits and opportunities the credential gives you. Getting your CPA license is a huge accomplishment and it opens so many doors.
