Oregon University & Community College Scholarships


Eligibility
  1. Oregon University Students: Full-time Oregon university undergraduate accounting majors, post baccalaureate and masters program students are eligible to apply for $3,000 - $5,000 scholarships and must attend an accredited Oregon university in the fall.
  2. Community College Transfer Students: Full-time Oregon community college students, including Oregon residents attending any out-of-state community college, who will be transferring in the fall to an accredited Oregon university and plan to major in accounting, are eligible to apply for $3,000 scholarships.
  3. Community College Students: First-year Oregon community college students who are studying accounting and will be enrolling full-time in their second year at an Oregon community college, are eligible to apply for a $1,000 scholarship.

Scholarships will be awarded based on student's academic performance, intent to pursue a CPA career and work within the state of Oregon. The scholarships are to be used only for tuition and books.

The minimum required GPA is 3.2 in accounting/business classes and an overall cumulative 3.2 GPA..

Awards
  1. Scholarships are awarded in the spring for Fall 2025 through Summer 2026 terms.
  2. To learn more about the CPA profession, The OSCPA Educational Foundation encourages all students to become an OSCPA Student Member. OSCPA Student Membership is free.
Application Requirements
  1. Complete online Oregon University & Community College Application.
  2. Upload unofficial transcripts (including courses through December 31, 2024).
  3. Online educator reference must be received before the application will be considered complete.
Post Application Requirement
  1. If selected as an OSCPA Educational Foundation scholarship recipient, you will be expected to submit official transcripts before the award will be funded.

WSU-Vancouver Scholarship

Eligibility
  1. Full-time WSU-Vancouver undergraduate accounting majors, post baccalaureate and masters program students are eligible to apply for the Stephen P. and Mayno Blanding Endowment Scholarship. This endowment scholarship is made available based on the donor's request that it be awarded to a WSU-Vancouver accounting student. This is the only scholarship that is awarded to a non-Oregon college or university through The OSCPA Educational Foundation.
  2. Scholarship will be awarded based on academic performance, intent to pursue a CPA career and work within Oregon or the Vancouver metro area. The scholarship is to be used only for tuition and books.
  3. The minimum required GPA is 3.2 in accounting/business classes and an overall cumulative 3.2 GPA.
