Diego Arellano-Barocio is a Business and Employment Specialist at the Oregon Employment Department, supporting job seekers and businesses. Graduating winter term of 2025 from Western Oregon University with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and a minor in Economics. After earning his degree, Diego will prepare for the CPA exam with Gleim Exam Prep and transition into an Accountant 2 role within the Oregon Employment Department.
Before stepping into his current position, Diego served in the Marine Corps Reserve and worked in construction, carpentry, and painting.
Outside of his professional life, Diego is passionate about combat sports like boxing, kickboxing, and Brazilian jiu-jitsu, which he practices at Impact Jiu-Jitsu in Salem. He also enjoys learning new skills, exploring nature, spending time with friends and family, and making new memories.
