What are you looking forward to about serving on the Board?
I’m looking forward to being part of a group helping our profession continue to grow and adapt to change. It’s inspiring to be part of a group of people that are proud to be CPAs, love their career, and are dedicated to continued improvement and innovation for the profession.

What is the most important message OSCPA leaders can share with colleagues?
Being a CPA is such a wonderful career that provides challenge, flexibility, and opportunities. As a profession, we need to continue to evolve, innovate and be creative in how we bring new CPAs into the profession and provide an environment where they want to stay. We are seeing significant changes in the way local/regional firms are developing new team members by providing rewarding, customized career paths that adapt with their team’s needs throughout their career. Having a strong, happy and engaged workforce translates to a strong profession that maintains public trust and professional standards while providing excellent value and service to clients.

When you’re not working, what would you consider to be a perfect day?
I enjoy traveling, spending time with my family and being in nature. A perfect day would be visiting San Francisco, hiking, and enjoying the wonderful restaurant scene.
