Leader spotlight: Megan Kurz

What are you looking forward to about serving on the Board this year?
I feel fortunate to be entering my third year as a director on the OSCPA Board. This year I am looking forward to welcoming new Board members, as well as continuing to collaborate with the rest of my OSCPA colleagues to further our efforts to advocate for solutions to address pipeline constraints to the CPA profession.

What is the most important message OSCPA leaders can share with colleagues?
The OSCPA is our biggest champion and is at the forefront of significant issues impacting each of us as CPAs. Whether that be fostering future generations of CPAs, helping ensure access to quality continuing professional education, or advocating in Salem for sensible legislation, the OSCPA is consistently doing good for Oregon’s CPAs, businesses, and our communities.

What would you consider to be a perfect day?
What a beautiful state we get to live in! My opinion of a perfect day would include taking in the scenery of one of Oregon’s beautiful lakes, rivers, or the mighty Pacific Ocean with my family.
