Congratulations to Melisha Perera, Surgent CPA Exam Review Course Scholarship quarterly drawing winner

Melisha Perera is a senior accounting student at Portland State University, with an expected graduation date in Fall of 2025. Her journey into accounting began at Portland Community College, where she earned her associate degree and worked as a part-time accounting tutor. She then worked as an accounting assistant at Classic Pianos in Portland while studying to get her bachelor’s in accounting at PSU.

 Her passion for public accounting was sparked during a Financial Accounting and Reporting course, and she decided to further pursue it. Melisha’s favorite area of accounting is auditing, and she is excited to focus her career on it. She plans to complete 225 quarter credits by March 2026 and is eager to begin studying for the CPA exam by using the Surgent CPA Exam Review. During her free time, she enjoys traveling, gardening, and playing the piano. Melisha is excited about the opportunities ahead and is determined to make a significant impact through her work.
