Oregon Board of Accountancy Notice – Alert: EMAIL PHISHING SCAM
The Oregon BOA has been notified of an email phishing scam that is targeting CPAs. The phishing scam creates a sense of urgency by impersonating your licensing board and demanding the recipient take immediate action to prevent a disruption to their license status by clicking a hyperlink. Please be aware that this is a phishing scam and is not from the Oregon BOA.

The BOA will never ask you to verify personal information via email.

In the event you receive such an email, please notify the Oregon BOA immediately at boa.info@boa.oregon.gov or call 503-378-4181.
